With summer comes rooftop barbecues. Awesome. There's no greater thing than relaxing in 78 degree sun, looking over a beautiful city on the water with mountains in the background, being with friends and smelling the sweet aroma of a barbecued burger (or veggie burger in Chrissy's case). There was even a classic 40's bomber that flew over head. Kinda scared the bejezzuz out of me as I had flashbacks to fighting off Nazi's in World War II.
We also have a new member to the extended family who goes by the name of Shayli Chirag Mehta (aka Shay-loo or loo-loo). She is 3 month old and cute as a button.
At work a couple weeks ago I was assigned the task/opportunity to take some clients out on the town on behalf of Stratus Automation. There were three guests total: One from Japan, One from Malaysia and One from Germany. It was a little intimidating partially because I wanted to impress them and and make sure they had a good time, but also because the spoke very little english. Therefore there were a lot of awkward silences and broken english sentences. It was still a good time though. I took them to the museum of flight, the space needle and Red Robin (yummm). They were surprised by how many people drink during the day and I had to assure them that they were just tourists (yeah right ). I think they really enjoyed their time here and I was happy to show them around. Now it gives me another excuse to go to Germany and Japan. Below is Takahiro Hanjo and Nicolas Ho:
There was a monitor that showed all of the planes that were currently in the air. There were a crazy amount! I also got to see and walk inside Air Force One.
Some more sweet pictures:
One benefit about taking clients out is you get to take the bosses car. Mercedes E550 AMG Edition. It's sweet driving around in a Mercedes; definite curb/pimp appeal. It wants to be fast and I used to think it was, but I guess it just isn't the same when you drive a race car everyday ;)
We also went again to the Pride Parade (well Chrissy went early and I meet up with her and Sheena later near the end of the parade). It is always fun to people watch, especially during events like this. The best part is everyone is there to have a good time so it is contagious.
Good to see you blogging again! We ARE getting excited for the event of the year - your wedding!!! It will be here before we know it. Yeah!
