Merry Christmas!!!

Hello dear Friends & Family!

We are feeling really grateful this time of year for all things we have been blessed with in 2013.  With a little girl on the way we are so happy to have such a great community of people (that's you!) that will surround her and enrich her life.  It's such a huge gift and responsibility to think of the dependency this child will have on us to care, nurture, teach, discipline, and love her.  We are so excited for the journey and feel very blessed to have the example each of you have given us to help along the way.

Here is to a wonderful 2014!  Merry Christmas!

Our Girl!

As everyone knows by now, we are expecting a little girl on Feb. 17, 2014!  We couldn't be more excited.  This week I am entering the third trimester and I can't believe how quickly this pregnancy has gone.  With little sickness and lots of travel, the time has zipped by.  We have also found time to start decorating the nursery and I can't wait to finish that up in the coming months. My belly continues to grow and I thought I would share some belly shots.

27 wks - Day of Baby Shower!
We also just had another ultrasound last week and the baby is growing normally.  We got to see her moving around and licking inside the womb.  She is currently 18.9 inches long and weighs 2 lbs 8oz.  She is head down now and hopefully stays that way :)

We can't wait to meet you little one!  Just a few more months!

Memorial Day 2013

Catching up on posts here. As you may have noticed, every year we go camping in central Washington for memorial day. It's a tradition we love and will continue to do. I put together a video of the weekend for your viewing pleasure.

Being out in the desert gave me an opportunity to bring out the rifle for some target practice. This was also the first time for everybody that wanted to shoot it. Let me tell you, Chrissy is a dead shot. Balloons better duck for cover when Chrissy is behind the trigger.

This year we had some of my coworkers come camping with us. It was nice to hang out with some new people and we had a really good group. There were 10 of us total and 3 dogs.

Once the lights went out, our flashlights went on for some creative light writing. If you set your camera up for a 10-20 second exposure time, you can catch light trails. Always fun to do.

Exotic Metals Open House

This summer my company had an open house to invite the friends and family to get a glimpse into the place we spend a third of our lives at. Chrissy got to come view all of the things we work on, all of the machines we work on and many of the people we work with. Chrissy said it was nice to see everything, so now she knows where I spend most of my day.

Unfortunately taking pictures of the inside of the build was forbidden, however I took many pictures of the car show we held outside. These are all employee owned vehicles that people brought out to share with everyone. A lot of unique and classic cars made for some beautiful shots. My boss even brought out his 5 second drag car and I got to sit in it and play Speed Racer. :) Sweetness.
