Smash Putt 2013

It's that time again, SMASH PUTT 2013!!!!!!!!! If you remember last year [Smash Put 2012] , this is the most epic mini golf  course ever created. Power tools, saws, drills, pneumatic golf ball shooting guns. Awesome.

Billy, Mike, Brandon, Chrissy and I hit up the new location for this year. They had some new holes and some old holes to play again. Notice above everyone trying to "Tweet". Kids...

There were laser beams we had to navigate!

Golf ball guns to shoot!

Billys to entertain us!

Hole in one's to be had!

Friends, drinks and Punch Out on Nintendo!

This was a great way to start this years annual awesomeness that is the Mt. Baker Snowboarding trip. Stay tuned for more on this. In the mean time, enjoy a video I made of the event.

Spending time with M&D Feb 2013

We were fortunate to have Mom & Dad Egan visit us this February for a long weekend!
We played Eucher!
The first day was rather crummy, so we spent in up North and checked out the Boeing Plant tour.  It was really neat! We even got to see the parts that Ben's company makes for the planes.
We made sure to make a breakfast visit to Portage Bay to eat like we give a damn.
We spent one day at the Seattle Center checking out the needle and the Chihuly glass art!

Then we took the monorail downtown to check out the market and do some shopping!

And OF COURSE leave our mark at the gum wall to be seen for years to come!

Then we had a bloody break at the Tap House!Mmmm.

Then it was back to the car via the SLUT (South Lake Union Trolley)

Sunday we headed out shopping! Yay! We went to IKEA since Mom Kim had never been. Overwhelming? Yes. But an experience none the less. We even got to sneak a peek into Ben's work while we were down south. It was a massive building with machines everywhere. Pretty cool to see first hand where he works. We even saw his co-worker machining pieces of a sniper rifle he is making. Those boys and their guns.

We also stopped at good ol' JC Penny to get Ben a suit coat (finally!). He's been putting it off for some time now but he's glad he did as he looked quite dapper at the wedding we went to 2 weeks ago. He also picked up a pair of nice leather dress shoes.

Unfortunately Dad Kim threw out his back so he was not able to make it out shopping, which is one of his favorite activities (not). This also meant he wasn't able to make his flight the following day. Although it wasn't good to see him laid up, it was nice to have him around for a couple extra days. We always love it when they come out to visit and we cherish all of the time we get to spend with them! We love you guys and can't wait for you to come back out!
