Quadstock '10

So as the summer inches closer, we are beginning to see the festivals and events begin to materialize. If you really wanted to you could find one going on every single weekend. The first true festival of the year for us was something called QuadStock. It is an all day party hosted by Seattle University where Chrissy is getting her MBA. It was only for the students and 1 guest so we felt pretty privileged. During the day they had some fun little things to do such as henna tattoo's, photo booths, dunking tank and running on Ooblek (corn starch and water). There were also bands playing throughout the day.

Later, the fiesta got moved from the grassy field to the central quad where there was a giant stage setup. The other bands were good (Tokyo Police, Marmalade) but we really came for Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. Macklemore is 1/2 the reason I wanted to move out to Seattle. He is such an awesome artist and a great person. He also puts on one heck of a show! The crowd was packed and loving it more than any other band at Quadstock. Of course we were front and center loving every minute of it. (You can see me in the video below at 2:09, bottom left)

Overall we had a great time and are excited about this summers activities!
