TeePee Camping Vashon Island

The weekend of July 29th, Ben, Antoni (our new roommate) and his girlfriend Melissa, Moo for short, voyaged across the water via the ferry to the Island of Vashon.

We drove off the ferry into a cute, quaint community. We first wanted to get rid of our stuff so we went in search of our Tee Pee.

It was nestled in the woods between other Tee Pees and covered wagons.
After scoping it out and dropping off our stuff we went off to explore the island. We found a sweet park on the shore with swings to do flips off of...

We found another beach that had a lighthouse and tons of drift wood...

The last beach we found had the most interesting thing of all - a human brain just floating in the water. We sent Antoni to investigate...

Nasty, right?! There even seemed to be a pouch of hair. In the end we made peace with the fact that is wasn't a brain and probably a whale stomach, or something...

Back at the campsite there was a cool pond & campfire pit. Luckily there were even flush toilets!

We walked around the strip for a bit and found a place for a bite to eat.

This was a random hula hoop-er on the ferry ride..
